In the Transition...
After much debating, I agreed on putting a limelight on this year's happenings. If there is one word to describe this year, starting from January then I would choose MONSTROUS for the relevance and it's still too early to complain.
I don't know what's with this year but it has kept be disquieted till date. I'm not superstitious nor blame the numbers 2 0 1 1 for that matter, nor believe in Chinese zodiac (by the way, this year is of rabbit, which can't be so bad) but the series of events I have been living are distressing however, I'm the kind of a person who believes things happen for your good and god is testing your patience and your faith, which has helped me come out clean but I am ready to step into 2012.
But I must say, obstacles makes your faith stronger and nearer to god.

Curiosity: Millions Saw the Apple Fall, but Newton Asked Why.
I swear if there is one thing I could have asked some fairy god mother to take away from me, I would say "Yes please and let that be my curiosity".
Have you ever wondered, why do we need to wonder so much? 99.9 % of the time we get into deep (synonymous for shit: can't think of one) trouble is because we think too much about why, where, when, who, how..Only if our lives were freed from all these atrocious words.
I wonder what was the moral of the story "Curious George", and does he get killed in the end? hmm.. probably not. but what was the moral of that story? I should go on about writing my version of Curious George and have my own fanciful ending :D
And please do not confuse seeking knowledge with curiosity. Do seek knowledge but minus the nosy element of it. Ask what's bothering you but stop creeping up on people's life just because you are curious. Leave your curiosity at home as you walk out of the house, because it brings nothing but trouble along.
A person without curiosity is the one minding his own business- please try that sometimes it's actually healthy. If there is one place where I say being curious is legit then it's in school..be curious there, ask as much as you'd like, just not elsewhere.
Like Dorothy Parker said The cure for boredom is curiosity. There is no cure for curiosity
it's a hopeless state of mind..stay safe

If it's First You Don't Succeed; Lie, Lie Again..
I'm not suggesting nor promoting liars by this post instead my argument is that sometimes there are those verities which should remain unsaid.
There are sometimes such circumstances where unwillingly you have to say things which aren't necessarily true. Is it morally wrong? perhaps, should you then tell the truth instead? weight it out and then decide.
I used to be a person who hated liars and lies and despite of the reasonings behind that lie, I destroyed a lot. My friend then use to tell me that sometimes one truth can destroy worlds while one lie can save a life, in that case which one would you go for..and that used to make me think, but Lie is a lie, its wrong because I have been brought up with this perception or rather this fact.
Often the question in such complicated situations is would I lie or tell the truth and if I go with the truth, would I be ready to face the consequences which follows the truth? and if I lie, can I live with the guilt?
Unfortunately, I also had situations where speaking the truth would destroy lives and a lie would save it all and I went with the lie and spoke it again and again till I made it sound convincing. Guilty? Very much...Happy? Some what. Regret for lying ? No.
Moral of the story: Yes you might claim that you don't lie and have sworn to speak nothing but the truth but come on, look around you, a truth that can bring lives crumbling down is worse than a lie which can save lives and relationships.

Correlation between Feelings and Chocolate
Why am I discussing such a boring word, well..Today, I was feeling...Joyless. It has a reason. My better half (actually my better whole) is out of the country and wont be here on his birthday perhaps that made my day and activities half-hearted, I literally felt no enthusiasm and my day was basically very unproductive and sluggish till I decided to do something which might cheer me up. The first thought that came to mind was...CHOCOLATE CAKE..
I'm not a chocoholic, but chocolate chip ice cream and chocolate cake is my BFF. So after much debating, I decided to treat myself with a molten lava chocolate cake and there I was baking myself a delectable cake. After eating half of its batter and then finally baking it, I asked myself whats the correlation between feelings and chocolate? I often saw friends craving for chocolate when they are specially down or stressed about something. I also remember eating a bucket full of Ben n Jerry's chocolate ice cream when studying for Accounting exams in order to motivate myself.
What's the psychological correlation between emotions and cravings for chocolate. Another thing I'd like to add is we often never crave for chocolate when we are rather happy. That's weird.
Any way, Happy eating to me and happy reading to you

Cheesy Pick Up Lines..
Hey
I honestly had a writer's block today and it's rather exhausting. So don't judge me if I write things which I normally wouldn't ever ever ever (never) mention in daily life..yes the most absurd, idiotic, illogical, cockeyed pick up lines. And all the guys out there reading this, using a pick up line really kills all your chances of getting a girl, it really does! I don't know any guy for whom these pick up lines or any in the matter have worked. They don't work AND they make you look like...a Douche...really!
So let's get ready to rumble...Not!
Here are few I picked up from here and there, some has been used on me in past *good old days.lol* and others I got from internet or have heard of.
Woman: “Good! Let’s start with your bank account. Then the door.”

Beauty of Truth (Husn-e-Haqiqi)
Lately I have been listening to this song which goes hundreds and hundreds year back. This poem was written by Khwaja Ghulam Farid who was a renown Sufi poet of his time and fortunately till date.
This song was recently sung by a Pakistani singer Arieb Azhar, whom you'll hear/see in the video I have posted. Arieb Azhar has done a tremendous work by bringing this poem back, giving it his touch and introducing it to the youth or else we might have just taken a glance and looked away.
My interpretation: I would just summarize my experience with this song without judging what others might have felt or have thought about the essence of this song, so if your ideology or rendering of this song differ from mine then no offense even if its pure nonsense to you.
When I heard this song I felt that Baba Farid looked around him, realized the names humans have given to their eternal being; be it the Atheist, Occultists, Hindus, Muslims, Jewish, Buddhists, Christians, Sikhs, Shintos, Jains etc.. They all have given different names to the eternal being due to (or in) different circumstances and manifestations (in happiness, depression, love, intoxication, agony, or in any other notion..). Baba Farid here is be being direct to the god and seems to be in a dilemma while speculating " How may I refer to you?", for me you are all those yet one eternal being. Whichever (elements of life) excites your creation, they refer to you by that name; Which ever name I may refer to, all in all, I'm too petty to even describe that I don't see you in everything, You are the creator of everything. You are not the reflection of your creation, you are the one, the creator of all heavens and earth and all that's in between.
The translation of the verses.
O’ Beauty of Truth, the Eternal Light!
Do I call you necessity and possibility,
Do I call you the ancient divinity,
The One, creation and the world,
Do I call you free and pure Being,
Or the apparent lord of all,
Do I call you the souls, the egos and the intellects,
The imbued manifest, and the imbued hidden,
The actual reality, the substance,
The word, the attribute and dignity,
Do I call you the variety, and the circumstance,
The demeanor, and the measure,
Do I call you the throne and the firmament,
And the demurring delights of Paradise,
Do I call you mineral and vegetable,
Animal and human,
Do I call you the mosque, the temple, the monastery,
The scriptures, the Quran,
The rosary, the girdle,
Godlessness, and faith,
Do I call you the clouds, the flash, the thunder,
Lightning and the downpour,
Water and earth,
The gust and the inferno,
Do I call you Lakshmi, and Ram and lovely Sita,
Baldev, Shiv, Nand, and Krishna,
Brahma, Vishnu and Ganesh,
Mahadev and Bhagvaan,
Do I call you the Gita, the Granth, and the Ved,
Knowledge and the unknowable,
Do I call you Abraham, Eve and Seth,
Noah and the deluge,
Abraham the friend, and Moses son of Amran,
And Ahmad the glorious, darling of every heart,
Do I call you the witness, the Lord, or Hejaz,
The awakener, existence, or the point,
Do I call you admiration or prognosis,
Nymph, fairy, and the young lad,
The tip and the nip,
And the redness of betel leaves,
The Tabla and Tanpura,
The drum, the notes and the improvisation,
Do I call you beauty and the fragrant flower,
Coyness and that amorous glance,
Do I call you Love and knowledge,
Superstition, belief, and conjecture,
The beauty of power, and conception,
Aptitude and ecstasy,
Do I call you intoxication and the drunk,
Amazement and the amazed,
Submission and the connection,
Compliance and Gnosticism,
Do I call you the Hyacinth, the Lilly, and the Cypress,
And the rebellious Narcissus,
The bereaved Tulip, the Rose garden, and the orchard,
Do I call you the dagger, the lance, and the rifle,
The hail, the bullet, the spear,
The arrows made of white poplar, and the bow,
The arrow-notch, and the arrowhead,
Do I call you colorless, and unparalleled,
Formless in every instant,
Glory and holiness,
Most glorious and most compassionate,
Repent now Farid forever!
For whatever I may say is less,
Do I call you the pure and the humane,
The Truth without trace or name.

A Book ...
This might be the most anonymous post I'll ever write. Not to be confused, this is not a book review and I am too petty to even give a review of this book that should have been on everyone's book shelf.
I can't reveal the name of this book because..I just can't and it's banned (you can't buy or sell) in most countries, if not in all. What made me interested in this book is of course the title..and then story of the author who wrote this. I guess its not that bad if I just kind of summarize the story of the Author but most of all the secrets we were lied to..
This book was published in 1995 and the author was at the age of 27 when he wrote this book and sent it to a daring editor to publish it. He asked to keep his name anonymous since his source of information was found dead in New Zealand after providing the information. This Author wanted to contribute to this world hence he gathered the FACTS and sent it to the editor. Unfortunately shortly after this book was published, the author was also found dead and this book was called back from all the stores and the publishing company which published this book was also forced shut down. Not sure what happened to the editor.
Some lucky ones who happen to be at the book stores the first day it was published, got their copies and very few of the copies are in existence. All the other copies were called back and were destroyed.
If you want to know what the book was about then I can tell you this much that couple years ago there was a show called "the arrivals" and they basically touched somewhat all the parts that are discussed in the book. However, if you search for this on Youtube, some episode are missing due to censorship (of course, as if I wasn't expecting that). But there is a website called www.wakeupproject.com (which as well is under construction..see it gets more interesting). However, the original website is in German language and the episode of the arrivals is also dubbed in German. www.wakeupproject.de.
I will recommend to watch it on Youtube but the voice quality is quite bad :( Anyhow, I wish that we all become wise enough to understand how manipulated this world is and everything and I mean everything that has happened in this world was well planned..be it the world wars, civil wars, tsunamis, assassinations or energy crises or any kind of crises it was planned.
p.s. there is also a belief or an assumption that readers of this book are normally being observed by "THEY". Maybe this book is not everyone's cup of tea??
I hope we all can see the social entanglements we are in today. May god help us.
xoxo

21st Century's Humanity Divided into Three Parts
Hi,
The title explains it all..so here are the three kind of Humans out there:
1. Those who cause things to happen ( a handful of powerful individuals who are controlling the world)
2. Those who just watch the show, meaning sit back and watch what happens (majority of us)
3. And then those who are surprised at what has happened (they..)
"Find the truth, For truth will set you free": Enough said.

It's All Smiles
Have you ever noticed the variations there are in smiles. Lets think, it might make you smile as well :)
- The smile you see on a baby's face when the mother walks across the room.
- The smile you see on a 3 year old's face when he finally gets a piece of chocolate after begging for hours.
- The smile you see on 6 years old's face when they get their favorite toy.
- The smile you see on a kid's face when their birthday is a success story.
- The smile you see on a teenager's face when they go on their first date.
- The smile you see on a lover's face when she coincidentally sees her first love walking across the restaurant after ages.
- The smile you see on this "someone special's" face when she says *YES* to *Will you marry me*.
- The smile you see on bride's face when she is walking down the aisle.
- The smile you see on a new mother's face when she takes that first glance of her baby
- The smile you see on a father's face when the first word spoken by the baby is "BABA"
- The smile you see on a mother's face when her child has achieved something.
- The smile you see on a father's face when his daughter says I DO to her love.
- The smile you see on a grandparent's face when for the first time they get to hold the grandchild.
- The smile you see on a jilted lover's face when a great distance has parted their love, yet the hope is there to be united.
- The smile you see on an old person's face when they are convinced their life was worth it.
- The smile you see on a dying person's face when he knows he will be meeting his creator.
and the list goes on, these are the smiles I could have think of :) oh and don't forget to SMILE

The Silkworm and its Cocoon
Hello beautiful people
Have you guys heard the story of a silkworm and its cocoon-? No?? Well there isn't one :) So I'm going think of some amazing gibberish and turned that into a story..After all, isn't this what the story writers do, imagine the untouched parts of life and come up with stories like ...Harry potter, Avatar or everyone's favorite The eclipse.
But then it's not fair with those stories which lives around us and are screaming to be told. Lets not even think of a story lets just give an example of a silkworm and its cocoon. When I think about a silkworm, a precious insect who spends it's entire life to make its cocoon (in which it stays inside for about 3 weeks, once they are out of the cocoon they have approximately 5 days to live). It reminds me of a mother, who devotes her life to her cocoon (her house, her family) and once the children are older and are able to live their lives independently, they leave their parents and go their own way. Just like how a silk worm spends her life in making her cocoon and (moth) lays eggs and dies shortly after bringing the life to the world. The silk worm has performed the most important task ; that's spinning a cocoon, stay inside to mature, comes out in 3 days and lays eggs and then dies.
But, why is there so much similarity between a silk worm and a mother. Isn't it because they both give the world something very precious and most importantly they both devote their lives for their cocoons.
I hope this might bring you a bit closer to your mother and hopefully more appreciative.
xoxo

Jilted Lover (continuing)
Jilted lover
So close yet so far from you
In the midst of December
I sit in the middle of nowhere, thinking of you.
Knowing how close you are to me
My heart feels the warmth of your being
My ears hear all that is unsaid
My eyes see all that was once
My lips feel all that has been done
In the midst of December,
I sit in the middle of no where, thinking of you.
I have dreamt of the life that I live in my head
where you and I, share the magic
I have dreamt of the life that I live with you
where you hold my hand and guide me through
I have dreamt of the life that I want with you
I opened my eyes and looked around me
Sitting alone and wondering why am I here without you
In the midst of December
So close yet so far from you...
Jilted lover
Howdy..
So..Hmm..you know what, Its absurd how many random things that run through my head and then I have to pick one out and make a Blog out of it. So I got one.
So some time ago I wrote this poetry, it happened so that there is a Conservatory near where I live, I guess its Europe's best and ..ok, Firstly I need to get that picture out and about so you know the mood and the atmosphere which motivated me to write this poem.
So I have named this Conservatory a reflection of Heavens. I'm not a blasphemer or anything as such, but from all that I have read about Heavens reminds me of this place. I know heaven is Eternally WOW and Conservatory is just WOW to this world's standards but the heavenly vibes that I get from this place is inexplicable. Maybe...:) someday you can experience this phenomenon yourself.
So behind this Conservatory, there is this beautiful park where the mothers bring there kids for an evening refreshment or just to sit back and watch the kids play, the east wing of this conservatory is mainly for children and international students, and the the south wing is for adult musicians.Oh and in the east wing there is also a concert hall. So basically when you succeed in finding an empty bench in this park you hear different symphonies. Violin, Piano.. Orchestra...if lucky enough you can actually hear the singers sing as well.
Oh and in this park, you would find the oldest trees aging more than 100 years. But those particular benches under the shadows of the trees are my favorite. Anyhow, point being is, this park is beautiful: Enough said.
It seems that this blog has turned into a lengthy story so I'm going to do a part 2 to my "Jilted lover" Blog.

Unhappy Facebookers
Hey Hey..
Although i had tons of ideas what my next blog is going to be about but I need to take this nice and slow or else I might just run out of ideas..which I seriously doubt.
So my new bog is about one unhappy facebooker (pointing fingers, pointing fingers..Nope not me) Maybe you? OK, for the sake of the argument lets point that finger at me. I recently deactivated my facebook account: Fact. I have been using facebook for about 5 years out of which i have been one active hell of a facebooker. Though a year ago I terminated an old facebook account just because I'm a wimp but then opened up a new one and now I'm so sick of it.
Reason for deactivating my account is not so simple to explain since.... but .... however.... Ok so to keep it simple and straight, the whole idea of leaning over and looking into others life was a bit too much. Plus facebook is all about being self-centered. Its all about ME-ME-ME...I bought this, I got this, I am wearing this, I drive this, I live here, I like this, how I spend my holidays..see its all about ME..and You at the other side of the screen, just look at me and envy me..look at my pictures which I took with my prestigious friends..
Now you see why every other facebooker is one unhappy sucker. Although I wasn't part of the unhappy crowd but I was the other "fitna" (a special description thrown in for those who understand Urdu). I was the self-centered person who always showed off and bragged about how perfect my life is till I realized *what the hell am I doing here*. Checking facebook after ever 4 hours to see if something new has happen...OMG..are you serious, Yes people actually do that.
Now imagine, you see that your best friend went on a hot vacation with her man. You go through the pictures you see the beach (and the b****, in that matter), the boat, the happy couple posing (yukh) and of course the bling bling she wore just because the pictures will be facebookerize. So you see this situation and all the sudden (for no valid reason) you are simply aggravated.. Aggravated because your man is too busy to take time out for a nice vacation for 2.
Although a day before, you were actually thankful for having such a nice husband and today you are mad because he is not good enough. He can't be like your friends husband..you see you see..got the point?
Too all the unhappy Facebookers: Please be happy with your lives, don't compare and if that's something you can't do then facebook is not the right place for you.
xoxo

Too all the unhappy Facebookers: Please be happy with your lives, don't compare and if that's something you can't do then facebook is not the right place for you.

Cooking Therapy
Hey All...
This is my first blog ever..Actually I have just realized how great it is, you can write something which might or might not be read by individuals worldwide...its like writing your own book without the printing and publishing cost..plus no copyright infringement. hehe..ok so back to the topic.
As you may have heard that "They" say (god knows who is this THEY) that cooking is a very good therapy, it eases your mind, takes stress off your shoulder..etc..etc..well unfortunately, it is true.
You and I may have different explanations to why that is, I can't speak for you so I'll tell you what I think.
Firstly, Its one place people leave you the heck alone. No one walks in the kitchen and why would they, they are not stupid, they don't want to be asked for any sort of help. See, its a win-win situation.
Secondly, You see that knife and that cutting bard (evil laugh) you take that vegetable (BTW, I cooked aubergine today) and you put it on top off your cutting board and then use your imagination. Think of that person who has annoyed you the most that week (or that day), or someone who you just simply can't stand, well pretend that that vegetable is not just an ordinary veggie, its that annoying person and then you have your knife and go for it...you know the rest :)
Thirdly, the cooking is so time consuming that you get bored out of your mind and then start day dreaming instead of thinking about your problems (when you are bored you day dream and not reminisce: for unknown reasons).
Well if you agree, or disagree or have different reasons/explanations then do share
